Small Percussion Puzzle - Maracas

Puzzle made up of 4 square pieces of solid beech wood, each measuring 4 × 4 cm, which once fitted together form the engraved image of maracas; the whole, once the figure is built, measures 8 × 8 cm.

Maracas are percussion instruments of Latin American origin that produce a vibrant and rhythmic sound when shaken. Their characteristic timbre facilitates the work of pulsation, coordination and simple patterns with children from a very young age.

By reconstructing the figure of the maracas, children and adults observe their shape, relate the parts to the whole and connect the manipulative game with the rhythmic and sensory work typical of the SERCLET methodology.
Therefore, it is highly recommended to physically have the instruments to complete the didactic activity and open the door to multiple pedagogical proposals.
