Small Percussion Puzzle - Chinese Box

Puzzle made up of 4 square pieces of solid beech wood, each measuring 4 × 4 cm, which once fitted together form the engraved image of a Chinese box; the whole, once the figure is built, measures 8 × 8 cm.

The Chinese box is a percussion instrument of oriental origin, with a dry and bright sound, ideal for marking rhythms and creating simple patterns with children from a very young age.

By reconstructing the figure of the Chinese box, children and adults explore the shape of the instrument, relate the parts to the whole and connect the manipulative game with the rhythmic and sensory work typical of the SERCLET methodology.
Therefore, it is highly recommended to have the instrument physically available to complete the didactic activity and be able to propose multiple pedagogical proposals.
